Hi, I’m Colleen Mast—candidate for KPFA LSB Outreach Coordinator with KPFA and Pacifica Forward. I’m a current KPFA board member helping to build a strong KPFA outreach team across our diverse, multi-racial Northern California signal range.
My KPFA outreach experience includes:

Helping create KPFA program guides, stickers, signs and bookmarks with QR codes, and advocating for KPFA music postcards listing KPFA shows.

Distributing KPFA literature at events like No Kings Day, Solano Stroll, book fairs, Bioneers events and on campuses.

Telling people about KPFA’s in depth coverage of climate emergencies; racial, gender, immigration & LGBTQI social justice movements; economics, right wing violence, militarism, Gaza genocide ,the invasion of Iran and much more on the air, and on new media platforms

Sharing KPFA social media posts and creating posts

Sharing information about how to become a KPFA Member,

Recruiting students and others for KPFA’s news and production training programs

Sharing how to submit a podcast or program proposals

Helping at KPFA author and Birthday events.

Assisting at KPFA music events like at First Friday, the KPFA LSB Music Town Hall, and dance events.
